About Aaron Turnage

I was born in Kansas City, Missouri and raised in Lee’s Summit, where I’ve spent most of my life. Those roots matter to me—they shaped how I see people, work, and community.

I’m proud of my time in the United States Marine Corps. It taught me discipline, accountability, and the importance of showing up prepared. Over time, I’ve also learned that doing things the hard way isn’t always necessary, even if it can sometimes be the more enjoyable approach. Perspective matters.

Family is a big part of who I am, and I’m proud of the life I’ve built. I value my time, I value experiences, and I value the people I choose to spend that time with. As I’ve gotten older, those priorities have only become clearer.

On my days off, you’ll usually find me cooking on the grill, grabbing lunch with friends, or spending time near the water. I enjoy local lakes, being outside, and slowing things down enough to actually enjoy the moment. I’m especially drawn to the Florida Keys—the pace, the water, and the simplicity fit me well.

People who know me would probably describe me as polite and fairly quiet. I’m not someone who looks for attention or needs to be the loudest person in the room. I try to be respectful, consistent, and straightforward in how I carry myself.
